    C50 Shifting Trouble

Hi everyone/anyone. I'm new to this forum and need some advice on my 2005 c50.
I took out my bike for the first time this year (yes it's been freakin' cold and snowy in Montreal). I either struggle to get the 1st gear engaged or when I ride, I can't get it into 4th and 5th. I've tried everything possible with my clutch lever, throttle combo, etc but it is so frustrating that I never know if i'll be able to upshift or downshift!!!! Any ideas/suggestions? Peter

Have you checked or changed the oil yet ?
Let it warm up good ??
Is this a cable clutch or hydraulic ?
Don't believe everything that you think.
