    incorrect fuel level indication

Took my 2007 c50t boulvard to have it inspected today and when I left home it had 3 bars fuel indicated which should have been about right. Three miles to the inspection shop and when I left there I noticed only on bar so I stopped to fill up and it only held about 2 gallons and still shows only 1 bar. Rode about 15 miles and no change. Any ideas what might have happen or what the problem is? Thanks for any help

The thing that usually fails is the sender in the tank.
After researching a repair, most riders decide to fall back to the old trip odometer method cause it's expensive to fix.

Might want to check the connections. Corrosion can throw the reading off.
Don't believe everything that you think.
