Found Site That Has Sound Clips Of Cobra Drag Pipes & HK 3" Pipes

http://gmims.tripod.com/suzukivolusia/ Sound clips are at the bottom of the page. I was leaning towards HK pipes, but I like the sound of the Cobra pipes better. The guy that made these clips now has the HK pipes on but says that he misses the Cobra drag pipes. Cobra said that the streetrod pipes will sound a little deeper than the drag pipes cause the streetrods are a little bigger around. The only thing I don't like about the drag pipes is the gap in between the pipes. I like how the streetrods are closer together. What you guys think? The Cobra drags are very cheap on Oneida's site. Streetrods run an extra $100 or so and I think they are supposed to have a better heat shield.
Here are pics of the two different style of streetrods. I like the slashcut version better.

The Cobra sound a little more refined. They sound good, but I still like the HK better. I like the raspyness of them. My 2.5" Stripper Straights should sound similar.

I like them both. I'd have to say that I'm leaning to the HK a little. Mybe it's because that's what I have on my bike.
    Nice find thanks.

I was trying to figure out what that washers thing was all about too. They do sound the best out of the HK clips though and as good or better than the Cobra clips. He emailed me back today and said he likes his HK's, but liked the Cobras better and would stick with them if he could do it over. I will email him and ask what the washers thing is all about.

I've had the Cobra drags on a VS1400 Intruder, very tinny and poppy sounding. My son has the 3" HK long straights on his 650 Yamaha and even the Harley boys take notice when he fires it up. The HK 3" long straights are the deepest and best sounding pipes on the market. With the angled tips, they mimick the look of the stock pipes too.
