    gs250t wont turn over

okay guys i put a battery on my bike and i saw a flash. Now when i turn the key i'm getting no response. lights dont turn on. can't turn the bike over. Nothing seems to work at all.

I don't know much about bikes but i have a good knowledge about cars. So i'm not to sure what the issue is.

    my thoughts
    -ignition
    -seleniod

i really know nothing.. so please help a rider get back on the street before winter rolls in.

What do you mean by put a battery on it? Was there no battery previously? Did you think your battery was dead? Maybe you installed the battery backwards? I'd start with basic trouble shooting and check fuses and ground cables. Check power output from the battery to see if you may have fried it. If it all checks out you can try jumping the solenoid with the bike turned on and see if it kicks over.

i jumped the selenoid and it turns over. With or without the key it will still turns over. It had a battery in it that was dead completely i checked with a volt meter. Wouldnt even hold a charge

I'll have to check fuses, and grounds see if i find something there thanks
