    Hi,

Found my way here searching for info on Suzuki M50's. I just got one - an urban barn find, a 2009 with 250 miles on it. It's not running yet. I have replaced the fuel pump and screen. The injectors are out of the bike for cleaning. I've got my fingers crossed that I won't have to do more to get it un-gunked from the years of sitting. I'll be leaning on the forum for advice when I hit snags.

    Welcome.

I hope you have checked to be sure that the pistons aren't seized up, by trying to turn the engine over with the plugs out, BEFORE spending time and money on other stuff that might just be wasted in the end.
Don't believe everything that you think.

Welcome Vbg... cant understand people who buy a bike then leave it in a barn with such low mileage. I would also suggest checking all rubber parts for cracking and other wear and tear...esp tyres and brake lines. Needless to say all fluids need changing and a good fuel system cleaner run through.

    Good luck
Smoke me a kipper I'll be home in time for breakfast

Thanks for the advice. I’m taking all of it. Will be back if I’m not as lucky as I hoped.
