    On a side note...

I feel very spoiled here in the U.S. for having the option of "new leftover" stock. Suddenly I'm very appreciative of the bike stealers around me. Lol

So far I'm digging the VN900. Not sure if I like custom or classic.

I don't know tho the guy interested in my bike hasn't gotten back to me yet. So I may stay with the Sportster for a while longer.

Turns out my Sportster was wrongly jetted and was set with the idle way way too low. No wonder it was riding so lumpy, stalling AND took forever to warm up! Lol

I always thought that's how Harleys are hahaha

I had a mechanic tune it up and set it right and it rides fantastic now. I doubt I'm going to sell it at this point.

    Lol! Very common.

People want that potato potato sound. They don't realize you can get that even with the idle set right.

Congrats on the "new sporty" then! Win win.

    Yeah it was a revelation!

It used to take me almost 5 minutes before I could get going. And I live in the freakin tropiks! And I used to have to clutch it when off-idle so it wouldn't stall. And it would ride so lumpy at 1st gear.

All because the original owner wanted that "chug-chug-kachug" sound at idle.

So not worth it since you're only at idle less than 10% of the time anyway.
