Hi there:
I finally decided to get a yosimura 4 in 1 for my Busa and I would like to install it myself. I was wondering if anybody out there has experience and could give me some advice. I did some small work on bikes before and I'm confident about the exhaust. I just have no experience with fairings....

Make sure you get to every fastener and remove the fairings. Your gonna need to wiggle it some to get the front to release but it is simple. Once you get them off remember to put some tape around the tabs so that when you put it back on there is less of a chance of scratching something. Good luck.

Thanx precarious!! The Mom shows a pic with most of the fasteners, but I didn't know how hard it really would be. You made me feel better about the project. I'll get the system in beginning next week and want to make it a weekend project. After that my baby goes in for a power commander and a remapping. Any idea how many hp that will give me?

from 3-15hp, depending on mapping etc.

Don't forget to remove the Pair Valve Setup, and BLOCK the holes above the Exhaust ports.
Buy the block-off plates, or cut the tubes and crimp them shut, then roll them over.

I put the entire system on my bike, mind you mine has a lot moe idividual pices than most, from start to end, it took me 3 hours. whatever you don't rush and scratch something.
