Had a sit on the new 05 Gixer Thou today. It was very small. I think I prefer the 04 model. The way forward of course is small and that has to be that way to compete with the other big 3. Not so sure I'll be trading my K4 in for one though!

I usually don't care for naked bikes much but that doesn't look too bad in black. I agree though; you don't need a chrome air horn for a muffler.

The can is big admittedly, the bike feels much smaller than the 600 and the bodywork looks like it's not finished. No doubt it will go really well and handle. The redline is nearly 14000 wow! that should sound good though even better with a Yoshi on

Im kinda excited to hear what the "air-craft" muffler will sound like on the 05 GSXR 1000. It looks so different; maybe it sounds different.

(or maybe I'm just being optimistic).

When you say small, how small? Personally, I think the Yam R1 is a small bike. A couple of my boyz own them and I think that they are too big for the bike (both about 5' 10", 220). I'm 5'8", 190lbs and I find the bike fits me pretty good. I just bought the 05 GSXR 1k( won't have it until March) and wondering if the same will apply with it.
