i recently traded an aold car stereo for a 1978 suzuki ds 80/ the bike appears to be in great original shape. i was curious about draining the crankcase and adding new oil as i dont want to damage anything. and also i wondered if any body had an idle fix... carb leaks to, im going to buy a manual next week when i get paid, but any info would be great

THe manual is a great start, by the way I have car stereo I'd trade for a little bike too. Best thing to do with the carb is wait to receive your manual and tear it apart and clean parts with a good solvent, most likely there is dirt in there causing the leakage. The manual will tell you the recommended oil to use in the crank case. If you want to change it before getting the manual most 10w40 auto oils without energy conserving mark on them will work.
