I am looking for some advice. I bought and am rebuilding a GS750 and I am looking for a shorter exhaust system and am struggling to find anything that matches. I've potentially resorted to buying some headers and then having the exhaust welded on, but then I'd need to have it all painted.

Currently looking at:
Exhaust/ Headers: Suzuki GS750/1100/1150 Black 2.5" 4-Into-2-to-1 Exhaust Header Head Pipes | eBay
Muffler (Needs to be ceramic coated): 12 in. Stainless Steel

Any help would be appreciated.

If you read between the lines a little, that "cone" likely really is NOT a muffler at all but just an open pipe extension of your open headers.

And on an I-4 metric engine, that combination will be loud as HELL and totally obnoxious.
It might be bad for your hearing and might attract unwanted attention.
It will not sound good in any way.
