Just got my first bike, used, and it didn't come with an owners manual. In the process of getting one, but does anyone know how much oil is supposed to be in there? Should I be able to see it when I take the cap off?

Drain plug is on the left side of the engine (where the gear shifter is), behinde the frame. It will take about 2.5 liters of oil if you change the filter too (is good to do it every oil change). Use 10W40 or 20W50 oil for now. Because is air cooled I would use 20W50 for city riding.
