Let me say Congratulations to Mighty Matt Mladin on his 5th Superbike Championship. Now if Suzuki could only send Kenny Jr packing and get Mighty Matt Mladin on the GSVR maybe we could see some results! I know it is only AMA Superbike and the talent is 100 times deeper in MotoGP, but I have no doubt in Mladin's ability to ride anything to its very limit. The GSVR needs a guy that can ride around it's shortcomings and post some results. Just like the Miastro Kevin Schwantz did on the RGV 500 for years.

Congrats to Team Yoshimura Suzuki and Matt Mladin on another Championship season!

Yea I think that was decided like the 5th race

I went and saw him run around Road Atlanta like it was an oval track. Once he was in front he was gone.

He should go to WSB first. Same basic bikes but Suzuki needs better showings there in a bad way right now.

crap: my hero hehe, well to answer your question Soad he won the championship because he had the most total points. Its a series of races whoever has the most wins in the series wins the entire series. :b-rock:

Wins or points? If it's like NASCAR, you could conceivably win NO races and still take the season. The points are awarded to the top positions in NASCAR, not just the winner.

Well rather than start a new post I will just add CONGRATULATIONS to Mat Mladin on winning the 2005 AMA Superbike Title. "Clear the mantle honey I need room for #6. While your at it, you may as well make room for #7"
