Hi everyone. Just changed the Stator and R/R on my C90T and getting weird voltage readings. This is what my voltmeter is showing me direct from the battery.
Idle. 12.8 to 13 volts
The voltage rises to 13.6 to 13.8 as I increase rpm’s to about 1600 then drops down to 12.9-13 volts as rpm increases.
Battery ( new this year ) voltage when the bike is shutoff ( even after leaving it for a week ) is 12.8 Volts.

I don’t get it.

Sounds right to me.
Modern electronic regulators do a better job of not overcharging.

The idle voltage might be a bit low.
Increasing the idle speed might correct that.
