Remove the Right Side Cover. The overflow tank is right there with level markings. You can check the antifreeze by putting a volt meter on - battery and + in the fluid. Should read .1-.3V DC. (.5V and up means the anti corrosion protectant has faded out). It is possible to add them back but it is better to just change the fluid at that point. Those bikes are bulletproof with proper maintenance.

And where exactly do you think that voltage COMES from ??
NOT really a good test because the impedance of the meter would be a BIG factor.

Checking the specific gravity with a hygrometer would be much better.

Just as easy to replace it I would think....esp if there is any doubt
