Hey there fellow noobie...

You should be able to easily swap the 600 engine for the 750 engine. Just make sure you have the proper wiring harness. I have an '02 600 and was looking ot do the same thing. It may be trickier, since I believe your is bottom mounted, but maybe someone else on here can give some suggestions....

yes they will! you will need a 750 wire harn. the frames are the same for that year. just watch the engine spacers when you put the 750 motor back in. also get a 600 and 750 tech manual so you can cross check part # and info. ive dropped the motor out of my 02 600 and i takes aprox 7hrs to rip it out! go slow and have help. dont try to use the 600 header on the 750. end cans are the same though

I have a 2001 gixxer six that i put a 02 750 in and they did not fit the front mounts on the frame were a littel high i cut the mounts on the motor and re weilded to the head (profesionly done so the head did not warp)make sure you get everything off the same bike.i got my motor here and the wiring there and the ecu from there. 1 year later and way to much money, it is finished good luck and be smart
