My head is being buffeted like crazy - feel as if someone is clipping me round the ears!! Are there alternative screens for the Bandits??
I think if my back was an inch longer - would be OK! :?
I have been to the local shops and they have the same screens but don't seem too helpful with alternatives.
Anybody else had this problem . . . . . and solved it?
Thanks for the help!

Hey Lesley

Try eaglescreens.com.au. Haven't purchased one from them yet but they quoted AUD$113 ex delivery for my Bandit 6.

Their standard replacement screen for a Bandit is 30mm higher and slightly wider, or you can request higher still.

Hey Sime,
Thank you, have just got some info back from Eaglescreens. Looks interesting - would be wonderful if it does the job. Not sure the $$$ will stretch as have just bought some draggin jeans for partner and me. I have been cooking inside my regular bike trousers.

Thanks again, great bikes the 600 Bandits eh!!
Cheers

Lesley,

Don't know how tall you are. I am 182cm (5'11.5") and find that I cop the winblast on my shoulders, I don't really bet any buffetting at head height. I have ridden the naked Bandit 600 and at anything above 70mph (it was in the UK) I was hanging on for dear life, so I'm happy with the std screen.

I'm sure the bigger screen will make a diff if you are shorther than me and copping the winblast right in the helmet.

Yeah I have had the Bandit for 3 years and i'm still really happy with it. Although two-up and with luggage (ventura rack) I find the rear shock is struggling). Also the pillion legroom is noot that great, and the pillion pegs could use some rubber on the top a la the 1200.

Thanks Rowdy and Chad
Bike is a '97 Bandit 600, and like the other site, if I hang on to my neck - no noise and less buffeting!! Just look a bit crazy.
Have found somewhere in NZ that makes alternatives at $186, seem the same as the Aussie ones.
We are off on a ride round the South Island next week so I will either come fine or ears will be ringing
Thanks again
