Shop around for a new/used tank or can you get at the dent from the inside using some type of tool to push it back out, can you suck it out with a plunger or other suction device, could always drill a screw into the dent and use that to pull it back out, then plug the hole with a welder.Etc.....
Sorry Joe but from your post I would hazard to say that you don't seem like the type that should be buying a 25 yr old bike that is going to be needing constant attention. If you have to ask about fixing a dent in the tank what are you going to do when the problem is more serious and you will be unable to find exact replacement parts ?.Joe Curly said:
