Does anyone happen to know if the gsx600f and the gsx750f have the same interchangeable gas tank? thanks

I think the 750 has a slightly larger gas tank on it. This comes from me having to replace my seat on my 600 and could only get a 750 seat, it stil fits onto the bike but there is a gap between seat and petrol tank where the 750 tank should extend to.
