After about 1000 miles on my 2004 DRZ400 there are a few thngs I wish Suzuki would have changed in the design. The most useful item would have been a 6 speed transmission with a lower 1st gear and the rest of the ratios the same. This would truely make it a better dual purpose with enough speed for freeway commutes and and low enough gearing for tight trail riding.
