Since I do not have a bike yet this may seem an odd question to ask. But here goes: I hope to soon have a C50 or perhaps an M50. So far as I know it would apply to either one as I assume they are the same thing mechanically. I have read a lot of other posts about exhaust upgrades. I recently noticed a post in here that explained the horsepower/torque ratios on the C50. I can't remember who posted it...but thank you. If I remember correctly the hp was 43. It seems common that many like to change the exhaust and gain some power and a better sound. I also assume that with fuel injection a power commander will be needed instead of a jet kit. So if this was done to a bike like this with Vance and Hines, D & G or whatever brand along with a complete kit (Thunderjet Hypercharger ?? ) what would the expected gain be? This stuff is expensive, I think around $800.00 plus. I would hope the hp gain would be significant because if most of this cost is only going to upgrade the sound system I would rather upgrade the one in my living room. I am so looking forward to getting this bike and I will do other things like a light bar and windshield first. Thank you for your help. Michael

I do not think Powercommander has a product out for the C50 yet, but I'm sure we'll see one.

One of the advantages of the C50 is it's better fuel economy. Mine does a bit better than 50 mpg over the first 1400 miles. As far as the power goes, what you percieve as power is horsepower, torque and gearing. The C50 lays it down pretty well stock. I'm not a tiny person - but I have no desire to go after any power mods on this bike. 8)
