Not much beats a coastal ride. Did you see his speedo?! Oh yeah.

looks like angel's crest (sp?) over in cali
It's not Angeles Crest, it looks like it could be any one of a dozen canyons in the Santa Monica Mountains near PCH.

Since I was planning on riding The Crest today out to Wrightwood, I'll make note of the details, then ride the canyons in the Santa Monicas, just to be sure!

Its in SoCal, that should be all that really needs to be said. He does his races south of the border.

NOS
Carbon Fiber bodywork
Shortened length (gsxr1k swingarm)
couple other goodies.
Last I heard he was selling the bike to start up a new project, can't wait to see what he comes out with next, the busa made a couple of mags and he has plenty of people offering ideas for improvements on any bike he gets. Should be interesting

Well today I was hard at work riding every canyon I could in the Santa Monica Mountains before the sun went down! And why not, it was 78 degrees and perfect riding weather! I finally found the roads in the video at the beginning of this thread. It's been bugging me ever since it was posted. I knew I recognized it but couldn't place it.
It starts at Piuma Rd and Los Virgenes, taking Piuma east to Schueren Rd. Then ending at sunset where Stunt Rd., Schueren Rd., and Saddle Peak Rd. meet. It's just another road of many in what we call The Malibu Alps. Now I can sleep!
