I have purchased a blend oil that is to my understnding semisynthetic. I am told it will not have the wet clutch problems synthetic oil do. I know bikes need special oil ratings, so even though I have many years past used regular motor oil, this bike I am doing it right. I just wanted to know from other experience if this semisynthetic oil is as good as I am being told before I put it in my bike. So has anyone used it, and is it good? :?

I've never had a clutch problem on my bike, I've used full synthetic oil after the first 5000km on the bike. And there isn't a bike out there that puts more demand on a clutch than mine. What brand of oil is it that you are useing?

I have not chainged the oil yet myself. I did the first two with the dealership. I am about to do my first now. I don't recal the name of the oil I got but it is a synthetic blend. I was told it is good to use intransition and a bit cheaper than full synthetic. I bought this at a bike repair shop.

you don't need transition with todays synthetic oils.
