Hey guys!!! Glad to see some GA riders on the forum.
I ride every weekend, usually up to Dahlonega and then on over the mountains to Blairsville, or over to Hellen, or sometimes I just wander aimlessly around. Anyone want to hook up for Sunday (June 20)? I ride an Intruder, by the way, and not a sport bike.
Next weekend I am riding down to Savannah with some guys from the Stone Mountain chapter of the Southern Cruisers Riding Club, down Saturday for all-you-can-eat shrimp, $30 hotel rate, and back Sunday. The following weekend I am riding with a buddy up to Asheville, N.C., for the Intruder Owners Club Rally.

Ga Riders

Would like to join you this Sunday, I can do a day trip especially on Sunday, but we have plans (fathers day). The trip up to north GA sounds great, Helen, Suches, etc. Mostly can do this on a Sunday, so let me know when you are planning another trip. I can do it the following sunday, 27th. Would like to travel in smaller groups if possible, 6 or less. If you would like to put together someting for the 27, email me back. Once again, I am up in the Roswell so let me know where and when.

Hmmmm...forgot about father's day Sunday...must send out a card to dear old dad in New Hampshire. I plan on spending the day riding, maybe to Deals Gap again.

I will be in Savanna the 27th, and will not get back until late in the day, so that day is out. The next Sunday is July 4, and I will be in Asheville. Maybe we can ride the Sunday after that...

I bought my bike in Roswell back in 96, at Roswell Fun Machines. I used to live over at Old Alabama and Nesbit Ferry in Alpharetta. I also attended DeVry University over by North Point Mall, so you are in familiar territory to me.

Sounds good - I will reserve July 11th for a ride day- hopefully we can get 3 or 4 others on this site to join us from this site. If not, I have a couple of friends who live in Canton area, not too far from me, that would love to ride. They have sport bikes, but when riding with me, slow down somewhat on the curves. Let's keep in touch prior to July 11th. I can also post this on the Intruder web site. I know there are several people in the Atlanta area that own Intruders and would like to ride.

Sounds like a plan! I'll see if BillyJack from the Intruder site wants to join us- he has a 1500LC, and we ride together every now and then.

Sunday, July 11 looks like a go for me!! A buddy here in Decatur will be joining us, and another may also. We could meet you in Roswell, head up 9 to Dahlonega, and run over Blood Mountain to Blairsville.

Sounds great - I may also have one other joining us - keep our fingers crossed for great weather. There are several places, the easiest may be the parking lot of Value City, which is on the corner of Holcomb Bridge Rd and Hwy 9. We could meet there then head up Hwy 9. Other option would be to take 400 up. Let me know what time you would like to meet. I will also email you cell phone info in case of last minute change due to weather, etc.
