I didn't party or anything just wanted to see the fireworks over Lake Eola in downtown Orlando, so I got down there 10min off and kept waiting. A huge 4 club block party lit off a few fireworks but nothing big from the city. A whole bunch of other people also made there way to the lake to see the show but nothing. I knew I should have gone over to Universal Studios and watched their show. So anyway I left 10 mins after midnight and just cruised around town a bit on the SV till aboot 1:30am.

I'm quite dissapointed in the City of Orlando................

I lived in Orlando (Metro West) for a couple years in 97-99 but Ive never been to Lake Eola on New years Eve, but thats too bad they didnt do anything.

Once i get riding we should have a FL meet or something.

As for new years, i was playing poker (and winning).

A great day to ride in southwest Alabama, sunny, and temps in the low 70's. I only did 60 miles because of family commitments. New Years Day you got to have the traditional dinner of hog jowls and black-eye peas. :roll:

Just wanted to say that i started the New Years off un a good foot.I went for a spin today on my 1200S Bandit.I live north of Toronto,Canada,so you can safely say it was a "bit" chilly.I only lasted about 45 minutes but I really had a blast hearing my girl "snorting" through those gears.Oh ya and the bike sounded good too!hee hee! :smile: :bluethum:

cool...i was in the Summit at Metrowest apts....right on metrowest blvd. i worked over off sand lake and OBT.

For New Years I got drunk with some friends. We played Halo 2 with eight people on two TV's and watched the Canes beat some Gator.
