Has anybody put any added driving lights on their bike? I ride a lot at night and early mornings at highway speeds and the dims on the kat have a wide projection but suffer when it comes to projecting foward. What i would like are two more small lights that will project further out without blinding oncoming cars. I have found various companies like piaa and hella make some nice lights, but i just want some insight on what would be the best decision. The other question is the would the alternator be able to power them and my heated grips and still charge the battery? If anybody has any suggestions that would be great. thanks.

I haven't tried the running lights, but I just ordered a set of tailBlazers from Kisan Tech. Maybe this is what you're looking for?

thanks for the replies, they gave me some ideas i never thought of. Even though i didn't have it in mind, i thought the led blinker under the mirrors was very cool. I think i am going to go with the hella driving lights. I will probally start this project later, but i'll post pics when its done.
sorry it took so long to reply, term papers and tests are priority right now.
