The fuel pump is probably clogged. Some have a low pressure side filter that is easily replaced but then there is an internal one that is non repairable. Many have luck by reverse flushing the pump with raw fuel until it runs clear. The pump will probably be internal to the tank so that will have to removed to do this.

One thing if you do attempt to remove the pump....always fit a new seal to the pump housing. You could try some good cleaner through before any repairs are attempted...it may just clear whatever is causing the blockage. One other thing may be a pressure sensor...this cuts the fuel pump when the desired pressure is reached.
