Hi Folks,

I have a GSXR 400 GK73A (1988) which I am rebuilding, I have had the calipers powdercoated. The pistons and seals were left in whilst powdercoated so my first question is do I need to replace the pistons if they are in excellent condition with no scratching? I know I will need to replace the seals.

The second question I have is to do with the rear caliper, as you can see from the photo below there are rubbers here which have perished due to heat from powdercoating, how on earth do I go about removing this?

Any help you can provide is really very appreciated :) Thank you!
