Hi all. Have a Gsxs1000fal6 with standard brake lines.
Will I be able to install 2 brake lines direct from master cylinder to each front caliper independently, as I think this will give me a better response from brakes. Suggestions welcomed thanks
I think that would be a HUGE waste of time and money, especially if it is an ABS model.
"stiffer" standard brake lines should be fairly easy to find and install. They "balloon" less when pressure is applied.
BUT.....unless you are racing, there really is no need to "upgrade" anything with the brakes.
If you apply them in "panic mode" now with the stock equipment, it is likely you can lock up the wheels........and there is no need to lock them a few milliseconds earlier.
I have a 1990 VX800 which has a weak orange spark. It seems the OEM coils are discontinued.
Will coils from a VS800 or similar model be properly compatible? Wire length, etc.
Or should I weasel in an aftermarket coil compatible with the CDI system? (Would kinda rather not)
My boyfriend is rebuilding his 2000 maurauder and seems to be having issues. When the key is turned over, lights come on. But when he tries to use the starter there is nothing. No sound, nothing engaging, nothing. Help!
I purchased a use crash bar for my 2000 Intruder VS800. Used and based on pictures it will not come with bolts. Based on some research, it looks like I will need to remove the factory rubber inserts at the top and use bolts to attach to frame near the radiator...I am trying to find out what size...
I'm new on here, so hello and thanks in advance for your help! Years ago I lost the cushion off the sissy-bar/backrest for my Suzuki Intruder VS800 (1994). It just flew off when I was on the north circular one day... not ideal.
I've finally got round to ordering a new part but...
