Last week I just added the Kuryakyn brake pedal cover which adds size and looks great. It was an easy instal...less than 5 minutes. Two screws the attach the front portion of the cover to the back and then a set screw to hold it securely in place. After you do that, then you're going to want to add the matching Kuryakyn Shift Pedal cover. That install was a bit more complicated. You need to take the stock rubber shift cover off first. I used a small screw driver to loosen the glue and then I pulled it off. Then build up the metal peg with duct tape so the when you test fit the shift cover it is very tight. I used Gorilla Glue and a sprits of water to glue the shift pedal cover to the duct tape. Kuryakyn also supplies you with a plastic set screw which I replaced with a metal screw from Home Depot. Let it dry overnight and your done. The next accessory for me will be the Iso-Grips. Hope the install goes well.

I just installed the ISO Grips along with the ISO Throttle Boss on my Savage and LOVE them. They are very comfy and the Throttle Boss is great. Grips went on pretty easy just had to sand down the ridges on the plastic throttle sleeve with a dremel tool (since they don't make any that fit the Savage without a little modification). Even with the sanding, the whole install took less than an hour.

Susan-

With my Volusia 800 I was told that I had the remove the bar end weights to put on the Iso-Grips. Did you have to do the same with the Savage? I also am going to add the Throttle Boss. I have the Throttle Rocker currently and love it for the long trips. I was told that some people put the Throttle Boss on both sides for symmetry and to rest the clutch hand. I think that is a bit too much for me, but those little pointed end caps on the Iso-Grips look pretty good! HA!

No, didn't have to do this for the Savage. It looked like there might be some weights inside the bar but they were inside and not in the way. I heard the same thing about symmetry but that just sounds like a marketing ploy to sell you two instead of one! My clutch hand rests on the grip just fine!

FYI, my husband has the Throttle Rocker on his Triumph and it is wider than the Throttle Boss. The Throttle Boss works great for me but thought you might want to know it doesn't seem to be as wide as what you are using now.
