I am wondering if there is any way to get more power out of the brakes on my c50? I have owned 7 different bikes before my Suzuki and they all have been more effective. They seem weak. I had them checked at an authorized Suzuki dealer and they said that they a good. Just looking for other options I guess.
Thx

The Suzuki cruisers around that time still used the rear drum brakes which do feel a bit sluggish. Unfortunately we just don't have a strong aftermarket, thus, there is not really any simple solutions that I know of that would be safe in the end. Any small performance gain would be coupled with a possible safety issue (like adjusting the rear brake to engage earlier). Unless you want to endure the expense to hack on rear disk brakes, you just have to drive defensively and stay on top of the maintenance.
