i've ben thinking and i wondered instead of waiting for your break in period to wear out, if you could just put your bike on a racing stand and rev it up and cruise control it in one spot for the break in period after you get a feel for it. i should recomend this technique only for experienced riders only. break in is a good time to get a feel for your bike.

That won't work very well, In order to get the most out of your bike, you'll need to keep the revs moving. Its like when you sleep in one position for a long time, then you try to move, its hard. Same sorta thing goes for new bikes. they need to get used to moving through the revs. But if you wanted less HP and just wanted to ride it then it might work, but there won't be anyload on the bike.

LOL, if you had some roller bars with resistence to them, and some way to move the throttle through the rev, then it would work. But that's not nearly as fun as riding the bike now is it? :)
