Got my new C90T in January. First year of the Model. It comes with a lot of accessories but only comes in one color, Black with Blue metal flake (very coooool) :!:
I am already thinking of louder pipes but I have not even completed my 600 mile checkup.
I am already adding some chrome and looking for good aftermarket supplier. Anyone know a good one that has the new Boulevard Series parts?

Love that c90t. When I saw the one at the dealer, my eyes must have lit up. After some talk about the c90t, they offered me a test ride on the c90. WOW. I love my Volusia, but I think that c90t will be my next ride. Maybe next year. My Vol is an 04, and I'm still having fun with it. Best of luck with the ride.

Well - actually according to the specs its a good bit more than 100lbs heaver, and the fuel tank is 4/10 of a gallon smaller. Still - would have to have shorter range.

C90t

I am guessing my C90T gets between 45-50 mpg. The tank is only 3.7 gals. but they must have figured the fuel injection would make up for it. Also with the tank under the seat your space is a bit limited. However, when you rock it up it doesn't feel like a ton of bricks because of this and that's a good thing. I think I am getting a bunch of accessories for christmas through the dealership where I bought it.
Their prices aren't much higher (if at all) than the web. For instance, I am looking at a set of Cobra pipes for it and the internet price is $358-$385 my dealership quoted me $360. The nice thing is that I can go there, look at it and say it's good and I want it or no it's crap and I don't, and because I bought it there they don't make me pay for it first. All the accessories so far are right from Suzuki.

I am looking for a headlight visor for it right now. Suzuki apparently doesn't make one yet, which is pretty bogus because their passing lamp kit comes with them and they offer turn signal visors. Some of these aftermaket places claim to have parts that will fit LC1500 / C90. There are differences. They will also tell you to check with your manufacturer. I can tell you that Suzuki will tell you nothing. I've already been there and done that.
I called them on the phone. They don't want to hear about aftermarket accessories for their bikes even if they don't offer it.

Anyway, here's an example. The other day I found a speedometer visor that would hopefully get rid of that annoying glow that reflects off the windshield at night. It is listed for the C90, so I e-mailed J&P Cycles. It turns out that they do not have one that will fit it. The speedo is 4 7/8" not 3 1/4" like the catalog says. Actually, the catalog does not list it as 3 1/4", but, it shares the same part # with one that fits a Honda with a 3 1/4" speedo. So beware before you buy, even if the catalog says it fits.
Ride safe, and if you are from the the northeast, THINK SPRING !!!!!!!! :scooter:

Dude, try some paragraphs. That's killing my eyes.

It's great that you have a dealer willing to give you decent prices. My dealer changes tires that I bought online for $15 with balancing. I'm sure Suzuki will offer more for it in the coming years. I don't get that whole buy-a-bike-then-start-adding-parts thing, but good luck.

The adding parts things just makes it more of an personal thing. Speaking for me, the early mods were just about comfort. Iso Grips, better seat, floorboards. I think a nice comfort zone can help add to safety. Thinking about your butt being sore can be a distraction! Some do get carried away. OK, a lot get carried away. I''ve actully taken some items back OFF my ride. Being my first bike, some things just didn't quite work out!

I also think some get a bike and find out later that their tastes change a bit. I know with mine I love to ride to work, but hate having to buy food out every day, A backpack just adds to the heat in the summer, thus bags became important. I like it better without, as far as looks go, so on went the easy brackets. Evolution! My next bike will be more of a tourer/cruiser, like a C90T, or Road Star Silverado. Why not just start off with the things I've found to be important! I may just stay with stock exhaust as well. With the EPA getting tougher, and more long distance riding for me, the loudness factor will be toned down.

Although predominant among the cruiser crowd, I've also seen this occur among sport bike riders as well. It's all about adding bits and pieces to enhance comfort, performance, and/or style. It's a state of mind which allows the rider and his/her bike to achieve a sense of oneness. It is what makes the bike YOUR'S, not anyone else's.

Sorry about that dude! I didn't even realize it. Just curious, the mods that you list. Were they on the bike when you bought it? I guess you're right. I don't get the whole buy a bike and start adding parts thing either. Unless, of course you like to be unique and not have your ride look just like everyone elses. Looks, comfort, and style pretty much say it all I think.
It depends on what you're going for too, and also what you ride? You either ride something beautiful that you're proud of and that has appeal or something so fast that noone can see it anyway, or you just want cheap transportation, so you go out and buy an old beater bike that you could care less about what it looks like. Too each his own! Let's leave it at that. Ride safe!

I have 2000 miles on my 2005 C90T, bought in Sept., and it has ranged from 43 to 51 MPG. I have tried regular and premium fuel and it runs well on both. So far as the trim level on the bike it is a great package for the money. I bought mine for $9899, list was $11,299.

I believe most of us that buy metric cruisers are really looking for the big Harley look, without the price. The C50T and the C90T both give you the look, or better at a bargain price.

I have a friend with a 2005 Harley Heritage and another with a 1999 Road King. Both have riden my bike and were honestly impressed with the whole package, the balance in particular.

I don't know about the C50, but the C90 is a metal bike, the fenders are steel, and the chrome drive train covers and side covers are steel or die cast. That means alot to me. Hondas are mostly composite and cheap chromed plastic.

So far as adding accessory items. I have added crash bars, front fender rails, light bar, and the billet rear rack. Items to come yet this year, are the studded windshield bag, drive shaft cover and chrome billet battery cover.

Am I after the Harley look? Yup, but I am not a Harley "wanna be". I truly believe the C90T is a better looking and of course a better value than the big Harleys.

I have a C90 and have had the stock pipes, Hard Krome 3" big straights and no a set of ROADHOUSE 2 into 1. If you are looking for a Harkey sound, the Roadhouse is the closest you will find. It is not loud, but provides a deep tone. Probablm with aftermarket pipes on metric pipes is they start to sound raspy on deaccelleration. there is a link on my website that is specific to our bikes.... Great guys-great ino !

A great site for buying the genuine Suzuki parts at a large discount is www.boulevardsuzuki.com.

I can't afford a whole lot but got the billet luggage rack form my c90t for 113.95 where suzuki wanted 149.00. Same part.

They also have some great deals on Pipes too. I want to get the Hard Krome double walled 3" straights.

2005 C90t Boulevard

I just signed up on the forum today, March 10th, 2007 and am looking forward to hearing from other owners of the C90T. I have owned mine since May of 2005. I bought it off the showroom floor after takeing it for a test drive. As of today I have 20500 miles on it. I haven't had any trouble at all with it. I replaced the rear tire last summer when I had 16000 on the odometer. It's the most comfortable stock bike I have ever riding. My wife thinks so to. She has rode with me for most of the 20500 miles.

You might want to check the date before responding to a post. This one is really old, and most of the people that posted on it arn't even here anymore.

Go to the "lobby", and introduce your self, maybe start your own thread on your C90T.
