My situation is I brought my cylnder head to a dealer today to be honed and he said it cant be and that cylnder head isnt for a 1992 RM125. Well I got the vin off the bike and call the dealer and they confirmed that the frame itself is a 92 but they couldnt help me with the nine digt number on the case that they told me previously they needed so they could figure it out. Well now I need to figure out what size motor and yr are in this thing so I can order parts for it. The Vin number is JS1RF14A8N2100853 and the 9 digit # of the casing is F114-118282
If anyone could shed some light on this it would be greatly appricated.

Thanks
Mike

Call another Suzuki dealer and see what they say about it. sometimes you get the wrong guy at one dealer and they are of no help becuase they dont know themselves. Also if your cylinder is a Nikasil bore you can not hone it. what is the reason you are having it honed in the first place?
If it is a Nikasil cylinder then you do not need to hone it. Just put new piston and rings and needle bearings and wrist pin and you will be on your way. If the cylinder is scored then send it to Millenium Technologies and they can repair it for a litlle over 100 dollars.
