I am interested in buying a Chain/lock combo to secure my bike with another bike when storing it. My current situation puts my bike next to a 1000lb Harley so I'd like to lock both bikes together.

Anyone have a good suggestion?

Also has anyone ever had anyone TRY and cut their lock unsuccessfully?

Kryptos NY Fuggetaboutit chain and lock or one from Motrak. I have a Motrak and feel pretty good about it. However a hot torch will cut thru that in a short while and some liquid hydrogen or freone could alow the lock or chain to be shattered. Don't freak out when you see the $60-$120 price tag on them either. Hexagon link chains are better then round link chains too.

Owner of Harley is my dad so he is all for the idea.

Melting and shattering shouldn't really be a problem as long as it can't be CUT.

Someone had one of those NY Kryptonite chains and it was CUT, I seen the chain and figured something like that could NEVER be cut, but apparently I was mistaken.

That is why I'm here asking for your experiences so I know what's legit and what isn't, because my eyes have deceived me!
