I have an RF 600RV which I often use to ride to work.
I want to buy a clock for it, so that I can see what time it is whilst I'm on my journey, which takes in several miles of fast dual carriageway and a Motorway.
Trying to look at a watch whilst travelling at speed doesn't appeal to me, and is difficult with gloves on anyway.
I'm really surprised that there aren't clocks available for bikes. I know that some models have them fitted, but they seem to be few and far between.
The only things that I seem to be able to find are stick on digital ones, which are pretty useless in the dark as you can't read them, and usually they aren't waterproof either.
Does anybody know of a website or supplier where I can get a clock which I can mount on my machine. It needs to be able to wire into the existing loom so that I can see the time at night, and preferably be 12v powered from the bike battery. Obviously it needs to be waterproof.

thanks for any ideas.

Clocks

Thanks for these ideas guys. I'm grateful for these sites, and can now chase it up. Traffic gets worse and worse, and I work for an OGRE who isn't very forgiving if you're late for work!!!

My bike has a digital clock as part of the instrument panel ... just above the fuel guage. But then again, I do have a luxury model
Wow, I guess I have a couple of "luxury" bikes too! 8) I feel good now, thanks Inspiron!

Glad I could help :p

There have been some threads about this in the past ... most bikes don't have a fuel guage, so you just fill up the tank when you've gone a certain number of miles, or wait until the engine dies and you have to switch over to "Reserve" at 60mph.

My "old" bike (a 2001 Honda Varadero 125) had a clock, but no fuel guage.

My Vespa PK50XL had a fuel guage, but no clock.

Now I have both ... for me, that's luxury.
