//It'll shift slicker with synthetic oil. Also, put downward pressure on it, slowly let out on the clutch and it'll pop into gear before you fully let out.

//May want to find the capslock button on the PC

are you comming to a complete stop and then shift all the way down to first again. Sometimes if I do that when I stop quick I have to let the clutch out just a little just before it grabs and then close it, then I first right into first, I think it is a common thing if you are trying to shift all the way through the gears in a stop.

That just what I have experienced with my adventures.

Also try downshifting why slowing then you will definitely not have that problem

I have an 04 GSXR 600 too.

I noticed if I am decelerating and shifting from 2nd to 1st I sometimes pop it into neutral accidently. From there I kinda have to push harder than usual to downshift and it goes into gear kinda hard. I realize to just shift more with your toe and the gears roll more smoothly.

If youre stopped and in neutral, sometimes the bike won't go into gear unless you roll forward/backward an inch of so. It can sometimes be between the mesh in the gears. This usually happens when I start the bike up when I parked on a hill and left the bike in gear.

No offense but maybe you should take a MSF beginners rider course im sure it will help since you are fairly new to riding. From what i learned from this site even the veterans would recommend you take that course.
