I just purchased a new set of Cobra slip-ons for my 98 Marauder. Will I have to rejet the bike or just try the pipes first then go from there. It will give me some more power I guess, but I wanted the cracken sound. Any do's or dont that I should know about b4 the bolt-on???????? Thanks

You don't need a rejetting job, but if the bike starts to bang if you close the throttle, you might reconsider.

Installation is pretty straightforward, just apply penetrating oil on the head studs (where the exhaust meats the cilinder head) çause you wouldn't be the first to ruin the studs.

fit the new exhaust using copper grease at all nuts/bolts, but don't tighten the screws until they're all in place.
