Answer is either all or none depending on your point of view.

All quality products but fit should be the determining factor rather than brand name.

Helmets for example come in different sizes but also shapes. Depending on the shape of your head you might be better served by Shoei than Arai. All will protect you about equally but a better fitting helmet will be better protection than one that doesn't fit you exactly right.

Same goes for jacket and pants. I personnally have several Joe Rocket jackets because I find that they fit me best and will therefore offer better protection than.

Uncle Bob,

Well I look for comfort, fit, style, features, and the price to determine which gear I should purchase. would you consider this a guideline to be my determining factor or is it to broad...?

Thanxs..... Uncle Bob

No reason you can't fill all the requirements you mention with the choices available on the market. Guess I'm just trying to say that Brand name shouldn't be the only deciding factor.

Although brand names do usually offer a higher quality product there can be a wide difference in quality from a top of the line item to a more mass market product within the same manufacturers product line. By quality I'm talking about the choice of materials and especially the way they are sewn together, these two factors will determine how the garments hold up under normal wear and tear and especially how they will protect in a get off.

Do you know anything about cross stitch and aerostich is what I found that most of the product are sewn together. I guess you can say I am looking for a lot of protective features especially where the joints meet each other...

I pick F then B, simply for the quality and comfort of F and the perfect fit of B to my fat head. Both of these names have a high price, but I love them both.

I hear alot about both of those manufactures. Teknic looks like it has a lot of durable material on them and alot of protection; for Arai like the comfort and designs on them, but I only tried one.
