I was wondering how many of you leave your motorcyles uncovered in when it rains. I was out riding this afternoon and came home. The bike was hot so I didin't cover it. I don't have a garage. It started raining pretty hard about 10 minutes later.

Thats how some of us wash our bikes.............we wait for rain.

i leave my bike outside every day. rain or shine. i haven't had a problem yet with my elelctrical system. or any other kind of problem's.

At home no, it's under a small temporary shelter. But it'll stay in the rain at work or wherever else I'm at.

mine sits outside in the rain also. i only cover it when i have to leave the seat or tank off while in the midst of maintenance.

well, that is how i wash my car.

i park my bike INSIDE the house at night however. EVERY night. rain or no rain.

At home- it's in the garage.
At work- it's out in the rain.
At a Motel- it's in the room too!
Rain or shine I still ride,......just slower in the wet stuff!

I was planning on getting a bike cover to cover the bike up, when I start
riding it to work.
I was quite surprised to see that most of you leave it out in the rain.
Doesn't stuff like rust enter your minds?

Summer - Parked in the garage when I'm not riding.

Winter - Washed and covered in the garage.

I voted garage, but it gets rained on at work.

In the winter, it's stored in the shed under cover

I have a walk in basement. Thats where she sleeps.

At home, in the garage. At work, under an awning. When we travel, we cover the bikes when they are left out overnight.

Mine lives in a carpeted 2 wheel only garage! Still lacking the big flat screen for the moto races while wrenching! :mrgreen:

In my shed with the other 2. too much chrome on there to let it get wet to often. I don't like to polish it every time I ride.
