Just saw this over at another forum, and had a quick question or 2. While I'm sure this paticular site's plans probably are pretty poor, could this idea be implemented in a cycle? Would a 12v cycle system on say a 600-1000cc sportbike put out enough juice to generate enough cfm of air flow to add a couple psi of boost to an engine? Just curious.

For the money, forget it. The gains are minimal. Plus, your friends would laugh at you. :p

Well, according to those plans, the materials would only cost ~ 80.00 bucks.

My guess is 2 to 3 psi boost on a bike would take the horspower up 10 to 15, if not more.

My real question is could a bikes electrical system generate enough ampage to push a mini-blower that fast.

I read a aticle on ram air on kawi's and honda's, and they said that while at speeds under 100 mph, ram air did nothing for the bike, once it got above 100, it was the equivalent of 2 to 4 psi boost of air into the engine.

This idea would be like having ram air that worked at any speed.

Just use a leaf blower and a 1/4 mile long 'stension cord. That'll get ya' there!! :bluethum:
I'll just get a gas powered one, lol

Hook up the throttles to work sync.

A supa-dupa-wupa turbo/super/blow engine for 99.99, thanks to wal-mart.

LOL
