2006 boulevard c50t 28xxx miles

sometimes when i hit a bump, the whole gauge cluster goes out
have to pull the clutch in to start it
other than that, it starts and rides great
bought from a friend who owned it since 5900 miles and he has kept meticulous records down to when he put gas in it.

i dont have a manual for it so if someone has a link to a pdf, that would be great.

any info i get will be very appreciated.

It's most likely an electrical problem. Start at the battery and work back your way looking for loose connections. If everything goes out start there to the main fuse. Jiggle wires looking for a loose connection.

I have checked fuses at the solenoid, they are good. no corrosion.
guess it is time to play with the thousand wires.

Letting it coast to the side of the road AND leaving it DEAD while you get out your trusty multi-meter to chase the voltages is probably the best method.
Of course, you first need a meter.
It is possible that the problem is INSIDE the battery but loose or corroded main battery connections are fairly common.
