I have read alot of posts talking about drilling the baffles but I would like to avoid that option. I cant seem to find any listings for an 05 m50 exhaust. I'm not to picky as to full system or slip-ons. The looks and sound is what I'm looking for. The c and m pipes look identical but dont know for sure if i could use a listing for the c.

Decide on the brand of pipes that you want and then call the manufacturer and see if they make them for your bike. I put some Vance and Hines straight shots on my C50 and love them.

Good luck, Ralph

gotta decide

hey islander when you get your straight shots can you post a pic? I have been looking and so far it sounds like 01-04 volusia, c50, and the m50 are all the same. I am either thinking straightshots or the hard krome strippers. Want to see pic so I can decide on staggered or equal length. I do like the option of removable baffles with the straight shots.

How come you did not go to the demo day ride? It was a blast!

I was there but did not show up until about 1pm. I signed up for the S83 but got a weird you should not ride feeling so decided to cancel. There was a good turn out though with lots of bikes to try on for size.

My pipes showed up but they were the wrong ones. The cruisers came in but I ordered straight shots. THe right ones should be in wednesday. They actually put the ones I brought back on the C50 on the demo ride.

I put Hard Krome Amercian Classic Straights on my '05 M50 recently. They fit. The only caveat (which doesn't seem to be specific to the M50) is that the rear bracket can make contact with your swingarm. Actually, it's one of the bolts that makes contact. I've been running without that bolt for a while with no problems.
