Hey all,
I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with exhausts other than yoshimura-like scorpion or fmf etc. Are they better, worse, just different? Just wondering for my own quest for knowledge.

Peace

I've found that M4 seems to out perform Yoshi in the slip on/bolt on market. You get a true 6-6.5bhp extra in just the can change. I've discovered that Yoshi's give you between 5-6bhp and may sometimes need a power commander or jet kit depending on the bike. I've also heard the same about D+D on bhp. I haven't heard much on the bhp for Two Bros. yet, so it's hard to tell. M4 is going to be deep and throaty. The nice thing is at an idle it's pretty quiet. Everyone I've talked to that has used Scorpion has said they love the sound, but the bhp increase is almost unnoticeable. That could only mean one thing...1-3.5bhp increase. If you go full, M4 or Yosh is the way to go for a non track bike. If you're going track, Akraprovic race, Arrow race, Yosh Race, M4 race, and a few others that aren't as popular on the track. The Akraprovic line is quite expensive, so be sure what you want before you buy anything. You might be able to find a bunch of Yosh and FMF stuff on Ebay, but the rest you'll probably have to do some forum jumping to find a good deal on one unless you buy new. Good luck and hope this was helpful.
