Picked up my new C50 today from Lee's in Harrodsburg. I am really pleased with it. I will hopefully have some pics with me on the bike if I can talk my wife into holding her temper long enough to snap a few shots  . I am attaching one pic, but the rest are on my webserver. As you can see, I bought a backrest, windshield, and luggage rack. I also bought an HJC cl-max (flip-face) helmet and riding gloves. I already had a good leather jacket.

enjoy!

btw: I really enjoy the floorboards. And the heel/toe shifting is nice! It took every bit of 5 minutes to get used to.

Very cool. It's also very cool when you go to Lee's for your 600 mile service and they only charge $50. I've got over 1100 miles on my new C50 now, and it is great! You will enjoy it! 8)

It's going to take me forever to get up to 600 miles while driving 25-35mph in neighborhoods. I am trying to practice starts/stops/turn signals with a much bigger bike than I am used to.

I think you'll be surprised how fast those trips around in circles and around corners will add up. I've put 300 miles on my bike the first week and I haven't been anywhere!

Thanks!! Yeah, finally remembered before it got dark to get the camera out and took a couple - I'll put them in the eye candy forum when I stop and think about it. May have to get my secretary to take one of me on the bike so I can put that in my avatar.. my wife still ain't all too thrilled about it  Her birthday is next month.. I'll get her something sparkly and she'll forgive me

I may have to try that with my wife. She won't even look at my bike!

Mine'll look at it. And sneer. Wouldn't get on it to save her life. My step-daughter begs me to take her for a ride every day, which grinds her gears a bit more.

She has everything worked out.. Cost of bike - what I paid for her LASIK surgery a couple of months ago = what her birthday present should cost.

I've tried the 'diamond market is a big scam' argument. No dice.

I have the exact same bike, minus some add ons, and love it. What type of windshield is on your bike? I'm looking to put a 21" Memphis Fats on mine and am wondering if that is to big? I'm 5'9".

Thanks!
Make sure you post some pics. My windshield is the Suzuki OEM and I don't know how it compares to the Memphis Shades brand. If your dealer has both, you could look at them side-by-side.

Like Hamon, my windshield is factory. (Which basically means its a bit more expensive than the Memphis Shades.) It's also adjustable... so it looks like it ranges between the 17 and 19 inch Memphis. imho, the 21 would be too tall. I'm 5'9, too. Mine is set just a little higher than the lowest setting, and I can see over the top easily without getting a great deal of buffetting at speed. And I wouldn't want to have to look through it to drive - most folks bring up rain to drive home that point. I point out bugs. Especially after the bug breeding farm I apparently ran through yesterday. Eck.
