most of the recommendations i've read about katanas and frame slider is . Dont do. Drilling into the frame will weakness its structural integrity. So if you happen to drop the bike you make do more damage to frame than the damage your saving to plastic. Otherwise i would have put them on my bike :(

I didn't think they made the sliders for the Katana; but I'm not sure. But I DEFINATELY agree with Kitty. NEVER drill or augment the frame in any way.

Seems to me that a Katana could have sliders fitted without any welding or frame adaptation. They must be located where frame and engine meet, same as a Gixxer.

To do this, I'm pretty sure would require a couple large holes cut i the plastics. Done properly it should look pretty good.

Does anyone have an exploded view of the model Katana in Question?
