If you buy the correct NGK plugs for your bike, they will come pregapped, and you should be good to go. I checked mine the last 2 times I've done plugs, and they were gapped correctly. As long as that interior cardboard sleeve isn't damaged, there should have been no pressure on the tip which would have adjusted the gap. Otherwise... Clymer manual or Haynes manual will have your info.
