little bells you attach to the bike (usually low on the frame somewhere). Gremlins get caught in the bell and when you hit a bump in the road they fall out.

I have a bell on both my Intruders. I put no stock in such silly things, but they were both gifts from people I care about so I went ahead and put them on. I think of them whenever I polish it, wash the bike, or hear it make a little 'ting a ling' soud when I ride.

Way I've heard it is that they work if you buy them yourself, but they're twice as effective if they're received/given as a gift.

no no no no... you gotta put it low on the bike so that when the gremlin falls out it doesn't fall right back onto your bike!

I put mine on the lowest part of the frame,, hangs about an inch below the frame,,, towards the front,,, if it falls off hopefully I will be going to fast for it to grab hold of again.
