OK, it's kind of a long story but here goes. I went through great pains to clean the carbs on my GSXR750 '96. Bike ran really rich when I was done so I once it got warm enough, I figured I would finish the job up by adjusting the air mix and buttoning it all back up and hitting the twisties. So I took the carbs off the bike one more time, made my final adjustments and now the bike idles fine, revs fine, no backfire etc. BUT, when I am on the bike and I put it into gear, and go to take off, it dies, everytime! At least at first it was running rich, but it would still go! Now it won't even go!

I should have just let it run rich, what is the problem, too lean? Why won't it go?

Is it dying immediately, like a sidestand safety switch was disconnected, or does is sputter to a stop in some fashion? Need more details.

By what guidelines are you adjusting the carb jets?
