Hi all, I'm new to the forums so forgive me if this has been asked/answered before but I couldn't find anything via the search function.

I have an '06 GZ125HS. I snapped the cam chain recently but somehow there's no other damage. The issue now is that I need to fit the new chain and set the timing. I already have the chain in place but there is no 'T' mark on the flywheel. There are 2 machined indents on the outer face about 1cm apart and a stamped symbol that looks like a lollipop on the outer edge.

My question is how do I find TDC?

Thanks in advance for your help.

You could turnt the motor over by hand until the piston is TDC then set the cams to both being closed...I wonder if the lollypop symbol is actually 0 degrees tdc...the line being the mark and the 0 being the zero. Setting it up to vertical could be tdc...easy enough to check with the piston as it will be at the top of its stroke. Cam position is then set with both cam lobes facing away from the valve stems...or buckets if fitted.
