A couple months ago bought the bike in the below shots. Despite being marketed as a 250cc it seems the below specs indicate its a 288cc engine. I ride it quite aggressively on a tropical island winding roads and would like to get more low to mid range torque out of it. All riding is at sea level and temperature range 27-33 degrees. I already upgraded the muffler. Stock carburetor is Keihin PZ30. I am guessing some cheap 30mm copy which if replaced might give me a bit of a boost. The bike is a bit heavy but handles really well in the Motard configuration.

Appreciate if somebody could advise a good choice of a carburetor size and brand for this bike and my riding.

Good luck.
Projects like this often turn out BAD.

The best way to get more power is to buy a bike that was designed with a more powerful engine.
